*   Cannula
*   Give medication ( injection , oral and rectal suppository for child )
*   ECG
*   Take blood sample ( CBC , Chemistry , PTT , Alcohol , VBG , ABG , etc … )
*   Common cases will see :
-     All of ER cases



3- Trauma Area
*   Role of nurse in this area:
   Dressing ( wound - burn )
   Sutures
   Cast
   Traction
   Assessment
   Give medication like pain killer , Tetanus , etc …)
   IV fluid ( NS , Dextrose , lactated ringer , etc … )
   V/S
*   Common cases will see :
   RTA
   full down
   burn ( chemical , hot water , flam, .etc …)
   wounds by broken glass or any sharp material .
   fractures

4- Critical Cases or RR “ Resuscitation Room “
Role of nurse in this area :
   Assist DR when he do :
-     CVC
-     intubation
    ABG & VBG
   Catheterization
   NGT feeding
   Assessment
*   common cases will see
   Respiratory failure
   Pneumonia
   Brain death
   RTA
   Corona cases
   Internal hemorrhage cases
* important calculation :
Noradrenaline :
Dose * dilution * time / stock on hand * 1000

Dopamine :
dose * weight * dilution * time / stock on hand * 1000

How to calculate ML / HR:
dose * volume * time/ stock on hand



5- Observation Room ( male & female )

* administer IV fluid  as DR order
* administer nabolizer and oxygen
*   cannula
*   Give medication
*   ECG
*   Take blood sample
*   VBG
 common cases will see
simple case like :
hyperthermia
asthma
heat stroke
